How to Build Rapport with Your Client to Deliver Better Gifts that they can Appreciate


When one talks of businesses and clienteles, you have to always bear in mind that you cannot please everyone who walks into your establishment. There are walk in customers who can just buy at a whim and never come back, or the clients who keep on coming back, even if they don’t have to buy anything. These clients are the ones that we have to cuddle, to make them come back time and again.


We know that clients are not expected to buy something every single time they walk in, what we do know is that they come back bringing with them more clients and they talk about you and your business. These are the clients who deserve more than a cuddle; these are the ones that money cannot buy.


It is difficult to build rapport with a difficult client, much else how to build rapport with your client to deliver better gifts which they can appreciate. When building a rapport, you start off by introduction and a brief description of your business. Then as the conversation starts to develop, you start listening in to cue words that may reveal a brief description of who and what your client is. Are they difficult simply because they love to be difficult, or are they difficult because they have had experiences that do not bear mention?


Recognizing what your client appreciates or admires is the job that can be done by a good salesperson. To actually put that information into a concrete picture of your clients’ make up is the difficult part. Know what the clients’ expectations are: money in exchange, a free expensive gift, or a simple gift that is a token of appreciation. The secret is to know how your client thinks and feels.

Once you get to know your client’s personality, the how to build rapport with your client to deliver better gifts becomes a moot question. Who knows, maybe once you get to know them, all they really need is attention, which can be the greatest gift for them. May be, this all seems to be a hard process but you can easily build your rapport with client if you have knowledge of conversational hypnosis.
